Women generally have more vivid memories of their first time than men. Why they do is another article in itself; Romeo (for lack or a better pick) happens to have a very clear playback of everything connected to his first experience, including the pre and post events. Some of you, especially the men, might relate to some of what I have to say. Others may simply enjoy the humor surrounding the recount. It may be funny now, but honestly, at the time, it was nothing to laugh about. Romeo will tell you that repeatedly.
The buildup to Romeo’s first time was as much of a learning experience as he has had since then. He took sex very seriously, even though was in no rush to do it. When he was twelve he knew he was a freak, but not the term itself. He then was curious and knew he wanted it be good when he did it. Good not by his standards but by any standards. So curious Romeo, delved into anything in print or otherwise that had to do with sex. He listened, talked, asked questions and reflected. The first perplexing aspect was menstruation. It appeared to be the most confusing and mysterious of processes. He asked questions no one was comfortable answering, and when they did it didn’t make any sense. So Romeo confided in his dearest female friend and asked her to teach him everything she knew about herself, women and sex. Yea, like a girl his age would know much, but he recognized that she knew things he didn’t know. That was good enough.
They had a good understanding. She needed to understand wet dreams and wanted to know how come she never had them or even when she did dream, she never ended up wet. Romeo wanted to know about her menstrual cycle, and she was willing to explain, except that it never made sense to her, as she barely understood hers; hers was so irregular…which posed another question…why was it, when other girls didn’t have irregular cycles? Anyway, by the time Romeo was 14 he had completely understood the menstrual cycle. He ended up getting a biology text and reading seriously on the subject. He also mastered the art of inducing wet dreams. The first time, he was so bewildered, he didn’t know what happened or how. Interestingly enough he didn’t even recall the dream or that he had dreamed at all. Mother was up late and asked why he had woken up. He told her had wet the bed but didn’t see any pee around…but his underwear felt wet and mysteriously had no pee. She smiled and said it wasn’t pee, but then didn’t tell him what it was. You surprised? I am not! Anyway, Romeo found out proactively and quickly mastered the art of wet dreaming by understanding what it took for him to have one; all he had to do was think for a few minutes (before going to sleep) about something sexual he had seen; a movie scene or visualizing the images or text from a book or two. The bad part about the wet dreams was waking up wet and having to clean up…that sucked!
